picostation configurazione repeater alice...

salve a tutti
vi espongo il mio problema
dopo aver instalato di nuovo air os sulla picostation 2, ho scoperto che la porta ethernet non funzionava +(non so perche quando lo metto in modalità programmazione il pc resta come collegato alla pico 2).
ho un altra picostation m2hp che è collegata a un mio router alice che sta lontano e poi tramite ethernet lo mando al portatile(il wifi del portatile non lo prende come rete direttamente è troppo lontano).
ora per togliere quel cavo ethernet che la collego al portatile volevo chiedervi se era possibile con la picostation 2(che non funziona la porta ethernet) creare una specie di estensione della rete alice e poi collegarmi direttamente con wireless del portatile alla picostation senza il cavo ethernet.
chiedo a voi perche mi servirebbe una configurazione esatta perche l'unico modo per collegarmi al interfaccia web della pico2 con la lan rotta è tramite wireless(creo con un ap netgear una rete wifi con ssid UBNT e la picostation si collega

modalità AP-Repeater, SSID in chiaro = a quello dell' AP main, lo stesso = per il canale, no crittografia o max WEP 128 ( con altre crittografie non adrà mai ), 20Mhz di banda.

e non lo so so solamente che tramite wifi riesco a collegarmi alla configurazione web... ho comprato un altra interfaccia ttl e ora riesco a vedere il boot della ubiquiti

mmmm...molto complesso e poco utile secondo me.

Prova con un reset con il tastino che sta vicino alla porta LAN. Tieni premuto 15 secondi e si resetta.

Se è stata disabilitata cosi tornerà operativa ( la LAN ). Se non torna, vuol dire che è rotta e tanto vale buttarla e prenderne una nuova. Su diversi MAC address Pico e NSM tempo fa è esistito un difetto di quel tipo ( porte LAN guaste fuori scatola ).

no di sicuro no ntorna perche ho fato diversi reset e ho anche riflashato con ttl e senza.. non è cambiato niente... puo darsi che cambiando il chip lan torna a funzionare??????

Ah potrebbe, ma per quello che costa una pico ti conviene cambiarla se la tua necessità è di ripetere la rete ed hai una certa urgenza...

Se invece vuoi fare dei test di laboratorio, sei libero di farli, ma a quel livello li non credo che sia possibile reperire supporto.
